when a producer of the calibre of pete heller, with an intricate knowledge and understanding of the history of house music, started experimenting with an old roland 303 in the studio over a dub of a track hed been working on, there was only ever going to one result something very special indeed! so taking a few days off from studying for his masters degree in digital media, pete heller crafted another stunning timeless club track. when john digweed heard the resulting sabotage he swiftly signed it to his bedrock label and agreed with pete that the track should be remixed by the mighty tom stephan and his london based iranian sidekick kamisshake.

played by villalobos & raresh !! what a way to start off 2009, a very strong ep delivered from catwash aka chris carrier & dj w!ld with remix from lemos & kreon. groovabilisme (original) hits with its crafty tech-house stomp, killer kick, and fun tribal groove. a very interesting concept on this production, as the deep grounding rhythm is super floor filling, yet the space between gives it the perfect air for the huge sub that just rolls this cut to the top of the charts. a sure shot for all players. kreons mix stylizes with more jack then jack himself. his vox arrangements give his cut a pop, lock, and rock it knack for the true school dancer. this remix takes any spot in a set, its got the capability to kick it big or be slow & deep, depending on how a player wishes to pitch it- a brilliant & effective production. lemos rocks the bells a for main lead rhythm, an excellent perspective to make for a clever & diversity ep. his mix creates a driving hypnotic bender with enough thump & smack to keep the bells intact and still lead the floor into a seductive sound scape of a moving utopia.

after the well received dvk remixes subsitenz thought its only fitting to pair up one of dnbs hardest and bulgarias biggest export cooh with the two south london stow aways dvk. there fruits of their labor as you would expect is fooking insane. off the leash is not for the faint hearted or pregnant a relentless driver of a track with beats that mutate and evolve constantly over subs fatter than dawn frenchs ass. with the signature dvk rolling percs and pumping side chained filth matched with coohs lethal arrangements and movement of beats off the leash is one pissed pit bull in a poodle parlor. once bitten twice shy is a techy affair still relentless to the core with all the twist and turns that are synonymous to the likes of cooh and dvk. filthy stabs and hits are thrown manically around like a poltergeist having an epileptic fit in a china shop adding chaos to the already frantic bass and grooves. the main heart to his puppy is banged home half way through of its unnatural life were it warps from chilled pads to a nodders delight. dvk and cooh have started the fire and will be back to fuel it very soon!
